Double celebration for Wrexham business after opening new office and team expansion

An award-winning firm of independent financial planners is celebrating the expansion of its team and the opening of a new office in Wrexham.

Belgrave Wincham was founded by Wrexham-born Tom Foulkes and Craig Roberts, and has seen fantastic growth over the past two years due to an increased demand for its independent financial planning services.

To support this, the company recently moved to a larger office on Wrexham Technology Park, and strengthened its team with the appointment of Nicole Kent as a financial services administrator.

Director Tom Foulkes, from Gresford, said: “This marks the start of an exciting chapter for Belgrave Wincham. Wrexham is a fantastic place to work and the new office provides both ourselves, and our clients, with a modern and welcoming space, as well as the room we need to continue growing in the future. Nicole will be an asset to our brilliant team, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge from years of working in administrative and customer service roles.”

Tom and Craig established Belgrave Wincham in 2019 and have over 20 years’ combined experience in financial services. Since then, the firm has doubled the size of its team and plans to recruit three additional staff over the coming year.

Craig added: “We have clients across Wrexham, Cheshire and Shropshire and needed a base that was central to all of these. Wrexham was the obvious choice. It rightly has a reputation for being a business capital of North Wales, and we are proud to be a part of the thriving community here – especially at such an exciting time for the city.”

Prior to its move, the company was based in Erbistock where it quickly gained a reputation for providing a professional, friendly and approachable advice on pensions, investments, wealth management, personal and business protection, as well as mortgages.

This latest announcement comes after a string of achievements. In November last year, Tom was named as one of the ‘Top 35 Next Generation Advisers’ by Citywire New Model Adviser which celebrates the very best planners coming through the profession. This is following Belgrave Wincham being listed in the UK’s Top Rated Financial Advisors by Vouchedfor, a leading ratings service in 2020.
